Riverhead's carter gives Verbal to Syracuse

(6/28) - 2008 All-LIBLITZ.COM honorable mention defensive lineman Malcom Carter from Riverhead has given his verbal commitment to Syracuse University. Carter is the second player from the Long Island region that Head Coach Doug Marrone has been able to sign. Lawrence's QB John Kinder committed about a month ago.

The 6'1" 235 rejected a scholarship offers from Rutgers University and Temple University. Read more here from the Syracuse Post Standard.
