2008 New York-New Jersey
All-Star Football Classic

June 7, 2008 - The
11th annual NY/NJ All-Star Football Classic (formerly
the Governor's Bowl) will be held at Rutgers University
tomorrow, with the game starting at 3:00 p.m. New
Jersey holds the advantage in the series, with a7 to 3
lead and has won the past two games. NY State Head Coach
Joe Vito (Roosevelt) has set out to stop New Jersey
winning streak and start New York on its own.
If New York is to win the
game Long Island student athletes will play a major role
in the deciding the game. Long Island will be
represented by 11 players, lead by a trio from William
Floyd Joe Johnson, Joe Sidaras and LI BLITZ.COM Player
of the Year Brock Jackolski.
