Maritime Football to Host Coaches Clinic and Player Camp
with SUNY at Buffalo

THROGS NECK, NY - The Maritime
Football staff will team with the SUNY at Buffalofootball
staff on Friday, June 13th to
provide a coaches clinic for local football coaches seeking
to improve their football knowledge. The
Clinic will be held on the Maritime College campus
and coaches from both institutions will present topics on
Offense, Defense, Special Teams and Strength and
Conditioning. Clinic
registration will begin at 4pm with
various sessions starting at 4:30. The
total cost for the clinic will be $25 which includes dinner
and walk up sign ins are welcome. The
clinic will also feature a keynote presentation by Buffalo
Head Coach and MAC Coach of the Year, Turner Gill. As
a player, Coach Gill was a Heisman Trophy finalist and as a
coach, he has led the Buffalo program
to the 2007 MAC Eastern Conference Champions in just two

For the second year, the
Maritime football staff will join with the University at Buffalo to
host a football camp on the scenic Maritime College campus. The
camp will begin at 8am on
Saturday, June 14th and
this one day event is a great opportunity for local talent
to show and improve their football skills under the
instruction of two college football staff’s. The
coaching emphasis will be on basic offensive and defensive
fundamentals in a non-padded environment for players
entering grades 9-12. Cost
for the camp is $35 and players are invited to sign up in
advance or may also sign up on the morning of the camp. Further
