LI BLITZ NEWS
The LI BLITZ.COM Preseason
All Long Island Football Team
(12/4) - LI BLITZ.COM is proud to
release our third annual All Long Island Football team. The team was
selected by using a cross section of coaches throughout Long Island
and the LI BLITZ staff.
The undefeated Long Island Champions
Riverhead Blue Waves had four players make either the1st team
offense and defense. The Blue Waves' Miguel Maysonet repeated as 1st
team running back this season, after being 2nd team running back in
2006. Joining Maysonet on the All Long Island team, is Andrew Smith
(DL), John Lague (OL), and Tyler Gillman (DB).
Sean Moller (K) of East Islip and Cody
Hinrichs (DL) of Islip were the only other returning 1st team All
Long Island players. Hempstead and Wantagh each place 3 players on
either the 1st or 2nd teams.
